New Camera

Oh yeah, almost forgot... all the photos in the last post mark the transition to my new camera. It's a Minolta Maxxum 5D for those that care and so far it is taking some great pictures!! case in point:

The Playhouse - Done... Almost!

Ok, so I'm not that fastest painter in the world. Turns out painting a playhouse can eat up all of my weekends for 3-4 weeks straight and I'm still not done. It is as you can see mostly done, but the lattice is a little tiring. Anyway, this is the very close to finished product and the girls absolutely love it. Now that the weather is cooling off as well they are getting even more time in it, playing house and dress up, etc. You'll also notice sod went down on the new yard (opposite the playhouse) and the grass looks better than anywhere else in our yard.

The Playhouse - Construction!

Dee Dee & Da Da Tom very generously purchased a playhouse for the girls. It was constructed by a company in 2 days and we have been working for weeks to paint it. Here are some pics of the grandparents helping out during the extreme makeover playhouse edition! We also decided it was a good time to get some grading done to increase our backyard space. After a couple of hours with a bobcat, we gained about 1000 sq ft of space.
